FGA News
It was Bryant Johnston’s victory from start to finish. With two birdies within the first five holes Bryant quickly established himself atop of the leader board. Newcomer Andy Peck proved he had game by briefly taking the lead after nine holes, shooting a gross 35, one under for a net of 29. However it was Bryant Johnston’s day when he finished with a gross of 73 for a net 64.
After day one, with a 4 stroke lead over Andy Peck and a 9-stroke lead over 3rd place Mike Orstad, it was Bryant’s event to lose. Currently in last place Ray Moncion made a run for the title shooting a net 68 on Sunday, but being 33 strokes back was too big a mountain to climb.
